1. How do I register?

You can register online, in person, or over the phone with a credit card or checking account. You may register at anytime. You can sign up for a free trial class online, simply fill out our short form and our office staff will contact you.

2. Are Mills instructors certified?

Yes, all of our instructors are certified through USA Gymnastics which is the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States. The Mills Gymnastics USA coaching staff are also required to complete the USA Gymnastics Safety Certification Program.

3. When can I start?

You can start any time. Monthly fees are pro-rated to reflect the remaining classes in the current month.

4. What if I have to change the day or time of my child’s class?

If you have to change your child’s class day or time, simply stop by the front desk and we will be happy to move you into any of your open classes. You can also call us at 734-2836550 or email us at info@millsgymnatics.com.

5. Does my daughter have to wear a leotard?

For the safety of our coaches and your child(ren),leotards are mandatory. The coaching staff is trained to spot children wearing leotards. When a child wears a t-shirt, it makes spotting much more difficult. Leotards must not have any lacing, skirting, or beading. Boys may wear t-shirt (long enough to tuck in) and shorts or pants (no buttons or zippers).

6. Do I have to stay to watch my child?

No, unless your child is not able to use the restroom by themselves or is under the age of 3 years. If you are going to leave the facility while your child is in class, please make sure we have your cell phone number on file in case of emergency.

7. What is Open Gym?

Open Gym is play time that is not structured like a class. Children are welcome to come and practice their skills or simply come for fun. Open Gym is for boys and girls ages 5 years and older. Sign up for this event on a first come, first serve basis starting 15 minutes prior to the start time. Open Gym does fill up sometimes; make sure your child has a spot before leaving. All children need to have a parent-signed waiver form in order to participate, you can fill out online, you must register online first. Or you can print out and bring with you. 8. Is there Open Gym for my toddler?

Yes! We offer preschool open gym for ages walking -5 years several times a week. Children 3 years and younger must be accompanied onto the floor by an adult. The schedule is seasonal, check our preschool open gym page for current times.

9. How will I know if my child is ready to move to a different class?

Your child’s progress is continually tracked by their coaches and your child’s coach will communicate with you when they have accomplished the skills necessary to be promoted to the next class level. Your child will receive a Move-Up form. Anytime after that contact the front office to make your child’s new class selection.

10. How do students get into the competitive program?

Entry into our competitive program is by invitation only. If you would like to have your child tested for our competitive team, please contact our front desk. Also our recreational coaches keep a sharp eye out for students who demonstrate an aptitude for competitive gymnastics. For specific information, please contact our front desk.

11. How do I pay my bill?

All Mills Gymnastics USA customers are required to put a credit card or checking account on file. All balances due will be ran on the first of every month. If you do not want the credit card or checking account on file charged, you must pay your balance before the first of each month.

12. Is there credit given for missed classes, camps, or clinics?

No. Please understand that Mills Gymnastics USA does not give make up classes, credit, and/or refunds for but not limited to programs, class(es), clinics, camps, private lessons, birthday parties, field trips, missed and/or cancelled due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather or any other reason. Mills Gymnastics USA does not issue refunds. All sales are final for any product and/or service purchase and/or provided by Mills Gymnastics USA.

13. Do you offer group tumbling classes/rates for cheer squads?

Yes! We will accommodate any groups of 10 or more children. These groups are given their own coach and floor space at a discounted rate.

14. Do you offer field trips for school or scout groups?

Yes! We offer field trips for all ages and group sizes. Please our front desk for more information.

15. How do I stop a class?

I understand if my child is enrolled in a program that has reoccurring monthly tuition I am continuously enrolled in the program and I will incur reoccurring monthly tuition charges on my account until I submit a Mills Gymnastics USA Stop Class form printable version or online. This document may be obtained from the front desk, printed, or online here. If you are stopping a class, it must be done on or before the last day of the month. If you stop a class after the month begins you will not receive credits and/or refunds for the remaining classes in the current month.
