We offer a variety of gymnastic classes for both boys and girls that cater to all skill levels and age groups. Our recreational class program provides appropriate challenges to gymnasts of all ages and ability levels. Our guided lesson plans help students learn challenging skills while breaking the learning process down into smaller pieces with stations and drills that help them feel success during different stages of learning gymnastics.

Boys Recreational Gymnastics Classes

The recreational Boy’s Gymnastics Classes are designed for boys ages 5 & up. The recreational class program provides appropriate challenges to gymnasts of all ages and ability levels. We offer a variety of classes for different ages and boys that have different gymnastics abilities.

Girls Recreational Gymnastics Classes

The recreational Girl’s Gymnastics Classes are designed for girls ages 5 & up. The recreational class program provides appropriate challenges to gymnasts of all ages and ability levels. Starting in Bronze and progressing through our Silver and into our Gold/Platinum classes that have a 60 minute or 90 minute option. This program has a class offering for every gymnast who wants to work skills on: Tumble Track/Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor.

Girl’s Bronze I & Bronze II Gymnastics

Bronze I (Ages 5-7) Bronze II (Ages 8 & Up)

Bronze I and Bronze II Gymnastics are both hour long entry level/beginner classes where students will learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. Bronze I is a class that works with Girl’s ages 5 to 7 years old, while Bronze II works with Girl’s ages 8 & up. Our guided lesson plans will help keep these students interested and excited about learning the most important fundamental skills in gymnastics. To move up from Bronze I or Bronze II Gymnastics: Mills Gymnastics USA students are required to master all of the skills in this class before we allow them to move up into Silver Gymnastics, the next level in the Recreation Department.


Girl’s Silver Gymnastics Ages 5+

Must Complete Bronze Gymnastics or a Skill Evaluation

Silver Gymnastics is an hour long advanced beginner/intermediate level class, designed for students who have mastered all the skills in the Bronze gymnastics class. In Silver they will continue to build on to their basic skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. Parents and students should both understand that starting at this level the skills they are working toward require more strength, flexibility and focus. To move up from Silver Gymnastics: Mills Gymnastics USA students are required to master all of the skills in this class before we allow them to move up into Gold Gymnastics, the next level in the Recreation Department.


Girl’s Gold Gymnastics Ages 6+

Must Complete Silver Gymnastics or a Skill Evaluation
Gold Gymnastics is an hour long intermediate/advanced intermediate level class, a student entering at this level must have mastered all the skills in the Silver gymnastics class. In Gold you will find that the skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor become even more challenging, and the strength, flexibility and focus required in previous classes will continually challenge students as we begin teaching higher level gymnastics skills. These skills will take more patience, dedication and time to develop then skills taught at the beginner level. To move up from Gold Gymnastics: Mills Gymnastics USA students are required to master all of the skill in this class before we allow them to move up into Platinum Gymnastics, the next level in the Recreation Department.


Girl’s Platinum Gymnastics Ages 6+

Must Complete Gold Gymnastics or a Skill Evaluation
Platinum Gymnastics is a 90 minute class, a student entering at this level must have mastered all the skills in the Gold gymnastics class. In Platinum there will be a few adjustments for students to make which is why this class is for advanced gymnasts only. Students will continue working on very challenging and advanced level skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor, plus additional time each week working on strength and flexibility. During this class we incorporate tumble track into our weekly plan to add extra practice time on skills that they are working on for floor, beam & vault.

 

 


Boy’s Bronze I Gymnastics Ages 5-7

Boy’s Bronze I is an hour long entry level/beginner class where students will learn the basic fundamentals of gymnastics on Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar, Pommel Horse, Mushroom, Rings and Floor. Bronze I is a class that works with Boy’s ages 5 to 7 years old. Our guided lesson plans will help keep these students interested and excited to get stronger and learn about the fundamental skills at this level. To move up from Bronze I or Bronze II Gymnastics: Mills Gymnastics USA students are required to master all of the skills in this class before we allow them to move up into Silver Gymnastics, the next level in the Boy’s Recreation Department.
